Laurie Pelletier serves Sunrays International as Human Resource Manager. Laurie provides generalist human resource services, as well as audit and compliance oversight for Sunrays international and its clients. Laurie brings over 20 years of multi-industry experience in HR management and she is well-versed with the Service Contract Act and Collective Bargaining Agreements. Her experience spans defense organizations and clients including the DOD, DOJ, Army, FLETC, Missile Defense Agency, NASA and National Guard Bureau.
Based on Laurie’s HR leadership skills, she was tapped by senior management to lead a new HR model under the Sunrays International support organization. It is here that she implemented a more strategic HR Department that focuses on using technology to streamline HR processes so that they can be utilized across all facets of organization. She also provided compliance and organizational skills to create a more effective HR organization that focuses on innovation and providing excellent customer service.
Laurie is responsible for assisting in developing, directing and managing all HR functions. Her accountabilities include onboarding, new hire orientations, HR operations (verifications and record keeping), human resource information systems (HRIS), employee relations, benefits open enrollment process, company annual federal compliances, payroll administration, and performance management.
Laurie acquired her Human Resource Management Certification while completing her Bachelors of Science in Management and graduated with honors.
